The AN/VRC-100 Advanced HF Ground/Transportable Communications System is used in ground support of AN/ARC-220 radio equipped aircraft.  The AN/VRC-100 is a fully digital signal processing high-frequency radio that provides two-way communication over the 2.0000 to 29.9999 MHz high-frequency range.  It has advanced communications features that include embedded Automatic Link Establishment (ALE), Serial Tone Data Modem and Anti-jam functions (ECCM), that can be used for a variety of ground or mobile applications.
