The Enhanced AN/GRC-245 High Capacity Line Of Sight (HCLOS) radio is a multi-band, multimode, software-defined radio that allows the operating frequency and waveform to be selected to meet diverse operational requirements.The equipment operates in the 225 to 400 MHz Band I and 1,350 to 2,690 MHz Band III+ ranges using a shelter-installed or 'base of the mast' Radio Frequency Unit (RFU) and the 4,400 to 5,000 MHz range using a mast-mounted RFU.
