Key Management
EKD
Encrypted Key Distribution (EKD) is the process of electronically issuing COMSEC Key and Radio Load set data over the Secure IP Routed Network (SIPRNET) to distant end communication stations. This is done using the Common User Application Software (CUAS) to create the Encrypted Key, the Automated Communication Engineering Software (ACES) platform to generate the XML file and the Tier 3 Download (T3DL) Utility to upload the Key and data file to an End-Cryptographic-Unit or Radio set.
