Spectrum Analyzer
The spectrum analyzer is used to examine the spectral composition of electrical, acoustic, or optical waveforms. A spectrum analyzer examines the amplitude versus the frequency of a given signal source, antenna, or signal distribution system. This device is also called a "frequency domain device."

The military uses spectrum analyzers to measure amplitude, which is the strengh of the signal and is measured in decibels or volts; and frequency, which indicates how many cycles the signal completes in one second.
Cisco Packet Tracer 5.1
PacketTracer51.exe (25.657 Mb)
Packet Tracer simulation software can be used to teach complex networking concepts and to supplement classroom equipment. With PT5.1, instructors and students can design, build, configure, and troubleshoot networks using virtual equipment. PT5.1 provides a simulation and visualization environment with continuous real-time updates of underlying network logic and activity.

CWNP Subnet IP Calculator
CWNP IP Calculator (5.309 Mb)
The CWNP IP Subnet Calculator helps network engineers visualize the interpretation of bits/fields in IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. In the case of IPv4, subnet and CIDR tables are generated as well.

View classes, subnet, CIDR and conversion information.
